Watched Lucy last night. It was... different. Great audio and video. But not sure how much repeat, if any, viewing this has for me.

I'll be skipping it... she does almost nothing for me.

I watched The Equalizer yesterday with Denzel, predictable but entertaining and more graphic than I expected!

I enjoyed The Equalizer. Some great kills. Denzel is a bad mofo.

I actually liked the story, but I wanted MORE!

Last night I watched Maximum Overdrive on my DVR. I couldn't believe it was in the OAR! I know TCM does this but I think I have only seen OAR of Maximum Overdrive was in the theaters. Good, 80's cheese fest with AC/DC!

ScarJo was cool in the movie but that Korean actor Min-sik Choi (baddie) was awesome as a bad guy! He did not mess around getting to business so to speak.

Anybody here watch The Ouija Experiment? I started watching it this afternoon and it is kinda meh, I wanted to know if it gets better.

I also caught The Man in the High Castle on Amazon a few days ago and it was pretty good! More mind bending/Alt America but it is creepy looking at America if we lost WWII.

I will hit Lucy at some point but I am not big on the ScarJo bandwagon. I get that she has a nice rack but she is a softy, with girl next door looks, as far as I am concerned, and I would rather see her parts go to Amber Heard or someone like that.

NF is sending me The Dead 2 tomorrow:
In this ferocious sequel to the worldwide horror hit THE DEAD, an infectious epidemic spreads through India as an American turbine engineer (Joseph Millson of TV's 24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY) learns that his pregnant girlfriend is trapped near the slums of Mumbai. Now he must battle his way across a 300-mile wasteland of the ravenous undead.

That art is bad ass. Very cool.

In other news......I'm back after a few months and needless to say I'm surprised with the amount of action on here in the off-season. It took me quite some time to catch up.

As Above, So Below arrived in the mail yesterday. Probably gonna be our Sunday night entertainment.

It does, I stuck through it a couple months back watching it on Hulu+.

BTW, Hulu has added John Carpenter's "They Live" and "Prince of Darkness". Unfortunately cropped versions (Carpenter prefers 2:35:1) and with ads. The latter unfortunately may not be a mistake this time as it looks like they struck a deal to show some films for free on IMBD as "Prince of Darkness" plays there "courtesy of Hulu".

As much as I like Zombie stuff, I don't know if I would ever refer to The Dead as a hit. I thought the title was referring to the whole movie as it was somewhat dead and lifeless - but hopefully 2 is better?

Sadly, the USPS did not deliver the disk yesterday.

In spite of the fact we have a NF processing center here in Salem, none of the mail is actually sorted here anymore.
It is all trucked to Portland before sorting begins.
Unfortunately, this usually means something mailed IN Salem takes at least 48 hours to be DELIVERED to Salem..
