I think I'm doing Bates Motel next. I just checked Plex to see if I was missing any episodes and discovered I only had 10 episodes for each of the first two seasons. I went to TheTVDB and sure enough they only did ten each. Season 3 starts next Monday so I should be able to roll right into it.

^ I'm not sure about this one...
The trailers don't fill me with a lot of confidence.
Will give it a go anyway.

I think it was the World War Z book that postured militant area would prosper in a zombie outbreak since there is less trust and a higher percentage of the population was combative and armed. Oakland might be a better place to be during a Zombie apacolypse than an average day?

I think I'll take my chances in the sticks. One of my co-workers was shot and robbed walking from bart to the office about 6 months ago and the protests have damaged a ton of mom and pop businesses around here. I carry my M&P Shield to work every day but in Oakland I feel very outgunned! Still working on some office attire that will conceal a howitzer

If you look closely you'll see a slot for VHS.

Man sorry to hear about your co-worker...

I remember I had a gig in Oak town years ago and I was with one of my English mates. He basically said Oakland looked like the ghettos in London, but as we were walking from the venue/club to our car, a couple of hundred locals were having a sideshow with two cars doing donuts together in the middle of the street. It was 4am and he looked at me and said "Oh sh!t these yanks are bonkers!" and we quickly made our way back to San Jose. I thought dj'ing in the rougher parts of SF were bad but Oak town is on a whole other level!

I started watching AntiChrist a few days ago and I am going to finish this up tonight. Trippy movie, but good so far. I think I will finish off with The Shining and hopefully bid adieu to the snow!

I just came in from snow cleanup for the second time today. I was just about finished when my neighbor got his tractor stuck so I had to go pull him out. It wasn't stuck deep, just too icy to get enough traction to back out. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny but highs only in the 20s, then we get a warm-up starting Saturday!

The Shining is a perfect pick. I was going to watch Annabelle tonight but I'm going to steal your idea and watch that instead.

I finished watching season 1 of Bates Motel. This show isn't anything like what I expected it to be. It's more drama than horror but I like it.

My wife was driving in the snow from the airport in Kentucky last night, she said it was pretty bad. I asked her now are snow tires (maybe studded ones) really a bad investment?! But seriously the weather has been pretty crazy and I hope all are safe out there!

Brrrrr, damn that's cold. It's been a long time since I've been in that kind of cold. Two weeks ago we hit 38 with wind chill in the 20's. That was enough for me.

I do no like this trend of trying to humanize the zombies. It ain't right. Zombies are supposed to be the most disgusting, horrifying creature in existence, because they were US at one time but now they just want to eat our flesh.

When they humanize the zombies, they take away that horrifying element. I didn't mind when they humanized the vampire. He was already halfway there in the source material, then the movies and Anne Rice brought him the rest of the way, but even still, when done right, vampires remain suitably alien enough to invoke horror, if that's what you are going for.

But the zombie? Please no. Stop trying to humanize them! There is a saying: There are two things that you can kill with impunity on TV and the movies and nobody cares.

One is Nazis. The other is Zombies.

I want it to stay that way.

You're missing the grand plan. If the Z's are humanized enough they become hipsters and then we are killing hipsters with impunity. It will be glorious.
