I didn't give it much hope either when it debuted but all I got was the pilot. Then after it's one month OnDemand season finale window it wound up on Netflix. After episode three it gets better. And I think filming about episode 9 or 10 they learned they were renewed so it really gets better with more twists. But I especially got off on the location since I am familiar with that area. I wonder if it was a non-union shoot that was "off the radar" as they are having union problems shooting season two.

It has shipped, It is here! 3-discs and Blade Trinity is the unrated cut. All discs are DTS-MA. Be careful when opening they put 3 discs in a two discs box (maybe mine is a fluke??). For fourteen bucks how can you go wrong.

Yeah i agree. I love me some zombie action, even bad zombie movies, but z nation is just plain bad. The acting is terrible and its not at all compelling

Cool and thanks for the tip!
Mine was delayed yesterday but it will be here today!

Edit: I got mine as I arrived home from the kids school! Yes my 3 pack is in a 2 disc pack so it is not a fluke. I am happy that I get to experience this in BD! Cool the second on is in 7.1 as well!

Just got done watching Blade and man I haven't experienced the full tilt of this movie since I saw it opening weekend! For a late 90's film this movie has a great soundtrack and uses all of the available channels in this BD mix!

Tough crowd this morning.

Got in the first two episodes of Coven from AHS last night. For some reason I liked it even though it seemed like nothing special.

Anyone catch the American version of The Returned? I saw bits and pieces. The American actors did not seem to grab me like the overly dramatic, soap opera like actors of the French version. The Amercan actors seemed too generic? And what the heck happened to Mary Elizabeth Winstead? Never thought I would say this, but she is too skinny now, and not as cute as a few years ago.

Kathy Bates was the only reason I kept watching that season. I don't know if anyone else could have played that character that well.

She looked perfect in that cheerleader outfit that she was wearing in Death Proof.

I'll stick with the French version.
The BD looks great with all of the long shots and ominous cinematography.

Indeed. From 2007, and I also liked her in Sky High from 2005. I am sure most of the hard core horror folks on this board have not seen that, though Wabo probably owns it.
She is good though, and has a ton of acting credits for being just shy of 30.

Last night I watched Blade II and watched Blade Trinity today. Blade II was fantastic and the sound was great! I loved the gory texture tone (GDT!) of this movie and it was worth the buy on BD! Blade Trinity...one thing is for sure, next time I will watch Blade/Blade II then watch Blade Trinity a week later. I forgot how bad this movie was, sure it was entertaining a bit but man a far departure from the first two. Best part of the disc imo is the blooper reel! I love seeing Blade on a wire, with a squeegee trying to wash windshields as he flew by them!

Sky High rocks! Bruce Campbell as the gym teacher. I'm always a Kurt Russell fan. Plus the aforementioned hotties and BAM! You gots yourself a quality movie. Throw in some superheroes and it's winner winner chicken dinner.
