Watched Animal and the newest version of The Town That Dreaded Sundown the other day. Really enjoyed animal but I have a soft spot for monster movies! It was fairly predictable but still fun. The Town That Dreaded Sundown was worth watching, some good kills but I wasn't overly impressed and also found it to be predictable.

Nodoubt it will coincidentally happen at the same time of the great shark migration flooding Seaside and Lincoln City with SHARKNAMIS!
(Starring Mario Lopez and Denise Richards)

"reality tv"

I pity the kids today. They may have sexting and the ability to re-take tests until they get it right, but back in my day we had.

Yup, sharks swimming up the Columbia devouring all those pesky sea lions....problem solved!

We have these little things called "earthquakes" here like the one last summer where the epicenter was 12 miles away. They're a lot of fun. I woke up for some reason right before it hit and lay in bed wondering if it was going to grow in intensity and should I drop to the floor. Supposedly the Hayward fault is way overdue. But the strongest quake I've felt was in 2007 at an previously unknown fault 1 mile away. It was like a train went through the living room. That's right, there are fault lines the geologists don't know about.

I vaguely remember talking about it with you...

I was ready to set my DVR to record me some Sharknamis. I've stayed at Seaside. Unfortunately, there was no Denise Richards sharkanigans.

"They may have sexting and the ability to re-take tests until they get it right." Darn near fell out of my chair laughing, if it weren't so sad. The Sharknado trilogy should be required viewing for anyone. When I'm in charge it will be so. Bwhahahaha!

Hard to tell because also that summer I had an aging shake roof replaced with regular shingles which made for a lighter roof and may have thrown some of my doors off. But there was no real apparent damage. At the nearby supermarket stuff did fly off the shelves making a mess.

Gotta love bear killing people.
It's very common to see black bears get hungry and love to attack humans for their brisket .

On a serious note , it was cool movie. Claims it was based on true events, but never knew which folks that got attacked that this film was regarding. Either way, Mr. Bear got away w/ murder

Actually, it is not "common" anywhere...especially out West where we have plenty of things for them to eat in nature.
In Oregon, we have black bears everywhere and no one can remember when last there was an attack on a human.

Of course no one in OR remembers anything. With all that nice dream herbs going up in smoke out there. In reality there are no black bears. They're all Wesen Jägerbars and the attacks are being covered up by the PPD.

Oregonian 1: "Did you hear that Oink fella went missing? Think it was a bear attack?"
Oregonian 2: "Nah, just another gas leak."

STILL the butt-hurt from Piglet's Peak?

That's definitely the case, it seems that faults that are running under the Santa Monica Mountains may not be as well mapped out as we thought. It's a trade off for living with no hurricanes and almost no tornadoes.

Oh but we have Sharks/Sharknado and of course that genetic miracle better known The Larger Desert High Speed Irrigation Canal Crocodile (basically some pet alligators thrown into sewer near an old Rocketdyne plant, or so the story goes). They only come out as night and are usually spotted near medical marijuana dispensaries. Come to think of it that's the only place they have ever been spotted Hmmm. Yes I've never seen one.
And if anyone from The Asylum is reading this, I thought of it first
