I watched the second episode of The Messengers tonight. I like where they are going with this show. Episode 1 was pretty good but it didn't set the show up very well. They should have combined these two episodes for the premiere.

I see that this was talked about several months ago, but I watched Tusk last night and still feel creeped out this morning by it! What an odd yet fascinating movie. I really liked Guy Lapointe! I thought he kinda stole the show, but who in the hell comes up with a script like that? That guy should probably be seriously watched from now on!

I caved!

Yes I watched the rest. I thought I only missed the first 10 minutes but I missed the first hour and 10 minutes. It's not in the guide again for the next two weeks so I'll have to watch for it to be on again.

I rented it on disc and it included the commentary and extras. The story comes from a riff that got going on Kevin Smith's "Smodcast" show. BTW, the girl on the left in the convenience store is his daughter who had no ambitions to be an actress but liked being in the film and is getting a bigger role in his next one.

I just picked up Tusk at RB. I plan on watching it tonight if I can stay awake.

There will be a quiz after you watch it. Does she make it?
Spoiler!

So is Tusk the marine mammal version of Human Centipede?
