Yeah, those OS/2 machines took forever to boot up. We used to call it a "half OS" system. I went to a talk given by IBM promoting using OS/2 for kiosks and they were embarrassed because only only 2 people showed up.

To think some knucklehead(s) at IBM allowed Microsoft to dominate the personal computer industry is one of the biggest gaffes in business history.

It is a "death/revenge"movie, but the characters portray people you would see everyday and yet are capable of the displays in the movie.

The way in which the protagonist finds the killer of his daughter is a little ex machina, but the payoff is different from most other movies.

Edit: Its the 2012 Australian film I am talking about.

Not horror but I watched "Maps To The Stars" the other night on DVD. Redbox had a 25 cent rental deal for DVDs. Like I say not horror but it is a Cronenberg film so weird enough and contrary to some of the public reviews I rather liked it.

In other news I see the Memorial Day box office was a disaster. When are the Hollywood execs going to realize that a lot of the public can't afford a night at the movies anymore? Actually Cronenberg's film is bit about Hollywood and the weird way it works.

I started it last night but I kept thinking about Fury Road and turned it off. Will try later unless the kid wants to watch Strange Magic again.

This movie is a lot like an old Twilight Zone episode out of the mind of Rod Serling.

Glad to see Grabbers made the list. I thoroughly enjoyed that movie.

Memorial Day is a holiday where people go out out of town with the extended weekend, and go outside. Traditionally a bad movie weekend more years then not.
