Is it the same Unfriended with the skype screen. If so, the deaths are

Filmmakers today may feel that way, but they're wrong.
It isn't necessary, it's just lazy.

Good writing requires some extra thought (not something Hollywood is known for).

Agreed.

Can't say as I understand not having the extra thought? I used to play a game when watching a movie. Every time there would be a face palm moment I would come up with a way the writing could have handled it better. I would ASSUME it was not director's intent but just an oversight in the movie. Eventually, I had to stop playing as there are too many blunders in most genre movies. I was being too critical of the movie and not just enjoying it for what it was. Yes, I am settling...

I did the same....although not anymore.
It has become a Drinking Game for me now.
As you can imagine, my bar tab is pretty high.

Stung

With Lance Henriksen and Clifton Collins Jr looks like it could be the bees knees.

I don't go to the theater anymore. Think the last time I did was to see "Lucy". I have an 8 screen all digital theater about 1/2 mile away. I only go to matinees if I do go because I can't stand evening audiences. Being a senior the ticket price is the same but even that ticket price will just about pay for a month subscription to NF or Hulu. Same with dining out. What I pay for $10 sandwich (which was only $5 a few short years ago) will pay for a number of meals at home.

Regarding "Jinn", I reviewed it here as an interesting cultural concept but not well done. Jinns are the basis for the lore of "genies".

I am finally getting through the horror of this moving business. Happy to be here in Minnesota and man it is a beautiful day today! I think I might have time to watch a little tv maybe Annabelle will get me back to normalcy.

Oh the bad part of this move is broken stuff, my screen and subwoofer get really messed up but I will be getting reimbursed for those damages.

This Jinn movie seems like a ripoff of 1997's Wishmaster. With Andrew Divoff as the Djinn.

Well, let me welcome you to the land of 10,000 lakes. And yes, it's a glorious day out. I'm off to my kids baseball game. Just gotta suck down this last malted beverage.

Was talking to the ump at my daughter's last game and apologising for our rowdy parents. He said no problem. It is the baseball parents that are out of hand. I know why...
