I watched "The Walking Deceased" on Netflix last night. It's a pretty good spoof on "The Walking Dead" as well as a couple other zombie titles. One might recognize some homages to episodes of TWD. Three Isaac bongs.

Be sure to check out "Humans" if you get a chance. I've seen two of the episodes out of the UK and those were very good. It starts tomorrow on AMC. At least they didn't remake the remake.

Can it be enjoyed without TWD knowledge?

Which reminds me to remind you guys and gals to try and find The Enfield Haunting, a three part mini series about an Amityville-like British haunting. Really well done.

Poltergeist 4 was just ok. It was too similar to the first in the series and that hurt it.

Ummm, with you, I don't know. Without seeing TWD I have a hunch you might "oink" it. You won't get the "in jokes."

Oh, OK.

I watched the premiere episode of TWD way back when.
I yelled at my poor 'ol Mitsubishi DLP (which made me feel bad BTW) for having the audacity of displaying ridiculous, B.S. human behavior (during a Z apocalypse!) as cooked up by sh_tty writers at the end of the episode.
I couldn't delete the show from my DVR Manager quickly enough.

that is probably the best review I have heard of this movie.

I will still check it out for October though.

We need more of that these days!

Since the horror movies are kinda dry right now, what horror movies to you guys sound the best on BD or DVD?

My vote would be Event Horizon on BD and The Conjuring on BD.

I like it but the selection seems limited right now. I expected that to be the case since they are just starting out, but if they don't add a bunch of decent titles pretty soon I'm bailing out at the end of the preview period.

I need a Roku app asap and at least one or two gems a month.

Here's a nice early review.

That's a pretty good positive review.

If you already have a Roku check out the Grindhouse Channel. They have 90 movies in the Horror section right now.
