The Japanese made a new Godzilla movie. Not sure if they're compensating for something, but they gave him a really large tail. Sadly, don't think it will be released here. At least in theaters. Probably direct to BD.
Years, ago when I worked at Maxis, Toho came after us for using their toy Godzilla on the Sim City box cover. A few years later Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich contacted us to see if we could help them with a web site for their movie version.

Newegg is taunting me. That same receiver is in the regular newegg store marked down to $99 after rebate now. I can afford it but I really don't want to spend the money right now. Screw it. I just bought it.

You should have had Godzilla eating Devlin and Emmerich on the website.

I was bored and channel surfing and I see this Elrey channel. Not familiar with it. But they're airing my kind of movies. Set the DVR up to record these tonight:

Jurassic Attack
Poseidon Rex

Thanks for the reassurance. I don't know why I'm being so weird about this purchase. I've run up bigger bar tabs before. In fact while I was on newegg I also bought another tuner that cost more than the receiver did and I didn't even think twice about doing that.

Lol. Hopefully you get as much fun out of it as a $99 bar tab. What new tuner did you get?

Watching Starship Troopers on SyFy and they edited out, er more like looped a previous scene instead of showing Denise Richard vomiting during the bug dissection! Lol I have never seen that type of editing and that scene isn't that bad.

One of the guys behind El Rey is Robert Rodriguez, keep your eyes out for his "In the Director's Chair" series.

I didn't know that. Now have the horned one tell RR he needs to get his channel going in HD. This SD is for the birds. Especially on my pj. There's about a 50" rectangle in the middle of my screen. I switched over to Big Ass Spiders on Syfy HD last night and the difference was substantial.

Pulled a double header last night. Watched Jurassic Attack, which interestingly enough I had already seen, and Poseidon Rex. PR was the better of the two.

Spoiler!

It's also where his "From Dust to Dawn" series airs first. That is if there is a third season. I watched the first two on Netflix.

Agreed on "Hush" which I watched last night. A different and well thought out thriller.

El Rey does have an HD feed but not every cable or sat provider will carry it that way. Sling TV originally had El Rey in SD but in time it was switched to HD. Best thing is to contact your provider.
And, got a text from '"THO". Tell Wabo I can't do anything but I might know a guy, he'll be in touch.
OK...phone rings...ME:Hello Voice: ""The Horned One" has informed me of Wabo's problem, and while I feel his pain and that of his family, I regret that there are somethings even beyond The Godfather's control. I am truly sorry"

True horror,I returned from my camping trip to find that my E Bay account had apparently been hacked. I found that I had 7 Seiki 42" 4k tv'a for sale and about 30 messages wanting to know if that was really the price. It seems that one person bought one and after I called EBay and ended the listing,he wants his money back.

Damn that sucks! And I bet the guy that 'bought one' could be the scammer trying to get money out of you. I hope EBay can figure out that you didn't create the add.

They basically told me that's fraud, cancel all the listings and send a message to everyone that responded to the listing. Apparently some where purchased and they want their money. Problem is I didn't sell the tv's. Told them to contact EBay. Nothing in my PayPal account. Oh,for the record, I listed 42" Sieke 4k tv's for $28.
