My bad,10 Cloverfield Lane.

10 Cloverfield Lane was pretty awesome. Reminded me of an episode of Twilight Zone. It's amazing what happens between a few people in a confined space.

Zombies do what they do, but they have limits (for the most part and being predictable). You also know a zombie horde is coming so you have to prepare accordingly. Idiots do stupid things and there is no limits to how stupid they can get. An idiot with you during a zombie outbreak will ultimately cause you or your groups demise quicker than the zombies.

Lately, I have been seeing a lot of idiots driving on the road. During the winter time, most folks pay attention and drive accordingly here. When the weather is good, the idiots come out in droves not paying attention and driving, well like idiots.

Might re-watch 10 Cloverfield Lane today. Looking forward to watching it at home after having seen it in the theater.

By the way, I haven't seen oink post here for quite some time. Anyone know why?

Did a mini horrorfest on Saturday. We watched 10 Cloverfield Lane, The Boy, and The Other Side of the Door. I was pretty let down with all 3. Coverfield was okay, but I was hoping for a better, less unpredictable ending. The Boy could have been better, but the ending was terrible. The Other Side of the Door was just boring and relied too much on jump scares.

From http://moviepilot.com/posts/3879174

"The film has performed well at international horror festivals, bagging Best Cinematography at Fright Night Film Fest 2014 and Best Editing at the Action on Film International Film Festival 2014. However, only now is it being unleashed on the public. Mark of the Witch will be arriving on digital and VOD platforms on 6/6/16, and yes, I see what they did there. The bigger question is: Did they delayed the film's release by two years, merely to get a release date featuring three sixes?"

Guys pre-order for Shout! Factory's The Thing is up for pre-order! I went ahead and ordered the Collectors edition! Very cool thing they are doing is that they are making a 4.1 mix on the BD from the 70mm six channel Dolby track! This is going to be really close to what the theater mix was! It was kinda expensive for a BD, but this film is one of my favorite Horror/Sci-fi flicks!

It isn't on Amazon yet but as ken pointed out it is on Shout's site.

I never ordered direct with Shout but how long does it take to get an email confirmation on a pre-order paying with a credit card? Amazon shoots me something within a minute but I think Shout must take 24hrs to update.

Shouts customer service answers pretty quick and basically my order didn't go through. My internet has been cutting out (Xfinity) all day today so that was the problem. I got it sorted and now my order is in and I have my confirmation. I should get this flick right after Labor Day!

I ordered They Live directly from Shout a few years ago. They were giving away a limited edition poster with the purchase. Couldn't pass it up. I think I actually got it earlier than if I ordered it thru Amazon.

Watched "The Abandoned" last night on Netflix which stars Louisa Krause and Jason Patrick. It's an okay film with a few good creep scenes in it. Three and a half security cameras.

Ah Gracias I see there is a less expensive version if you don't want all the art work, still with the new transfer.

I preordered that guy because I really don't have a place for posters. I have a bunch of 8x11 posters that are collecting dust in a bin.

I forgot they are even including a SD Network tv version of The Thing!
I am super stoked to get this new transfer and that audio mix is going to be killer!

Another Edit update, the Deluxe edition BD is sold out!
