I've been watching the ESPN 30 for 30 OJ Simpson series. Great show. I remember what a circus it was but this takes you in deeper. It's amazing how the defence team manipulated the whole trial and kept the prosecution back peddling. OJ's team quickly turned it from a murder trial to a racial issue. The defence sure used some sleazy tactics and got away with it.

One could say they got away with murder.

Hey how about Rob Zombie's 31 preview!

John Carter was okay. Fun popcorn flick. Didn't like Cloud Atlas though despite Halle's appearance. Much prefer her in other movies....a specific scene in Swordfish comes to mind

31....good to see this thing is finally being released in September!!

I watched the 2009 movie "The Unborn" last night which is on Netflix. Seems to be a new encode as what I'm noticing is recent additions such as the third season of "Peaky Blinders" may be HEVC (if your device supports it) because there is no "mosquito noise" on dark scenes which often happens with AVC. Seems both HEVC and VP9 have eliminated the "mosquito noise" problem. The movie stars
Odette Annabelle, Gary Oldman, James Remar and Idris Elba as well as the boy is played by Carl from "Shameless". And you've probably already seen it. Three and a half mirrors.

Since my sons B-day is in a couple of days, we celebrated Father's Day tonight and my kids/wife got me a sound bar with subwoofer for my bedroom tv. I see why people like these thing because they are simple to install. The sound is decent for a little bedroom tv. A big plus over the tiny tv speakers.

Had made from scratch carne asada nachos and margaritas for dinner!

Happy early Fathers' day to all!

"The Boy" was last night's selection on DVD. It was a freebie and I was a little reticent since it is a Universal film and probably will be on Netflix in a couple months in HD since they seem to be getting titles from Universal fairly quick these days. And I thought it was a good film and Lauren Cohan sold her part well. Four peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.

You did the right thing, Universal only markets the home video for the studio that released this. That studio is STX and their deal is with Showtime for all their output for cable/VOD. Should show up on Showtime in about 8 months.

"If you build it they will come.." Ok, what is this "It" you speak of and who, are they???! Do I want to know?...

Ok I guess I had to reset my password via my desktop computer. But is AVS slow on the reset passwords sent via email? Did it twice, checked spam no email yet.

I just logged out of the forum then used the forgot password option. They sent me an email saying I requested a password reset and gave me a link to click if I wanted to reset it. Right after that I got another email with a temporary password.

The real reason behind the password change is AVS parent company, VerticalScope, was hacked... back in February! All our passwords were compromised. What's worse is VS is trying to cover this up and not telling us we've been hacked. On top of all that, I had to sit thru a Progressive insurance ad to get the CAPTCHA code to reset my password. Wtf.

Finally got around to The Visit this weekend.

If Oink were here I am sure he would approve of the nudity. Not totally my cup of tea but very well done for what they were doing.

Nope nothing yet and I even did it 3 more times.

Damn that sucks dude!

On Black Friday I am going to replace my wireless router with a newer one because I think that is the cause of all my dropouts as of late.

Geez, we should be very afraid.
It's not like the forum is a banking app.

True. However, VS is covering it up and hasn't once warned members here. Even tho this took place several months ago. It is what it is.

Back to our regular scheduled programming. Watched Swamp Volcano starring Rachel Hunter and the indomitable Brad Dourif last night. Moved too slow, not enough bikini clad hotties. Can only give it 2.5 lava tubes.

That's just grand. Looks like the Home Theater Forum (also a VS property) was hacked, as I received a reset email from them as well. I set up an account there, though I don't frequent it very often.

I got a reset notice from Home Theater Shack,a VS property. I'm signed in on my gmail account there. I've still gotten no response from AVS on a password reset. Strange, very strange.
