Thanks Yankeeman.I've had a few operations and the problem has been fixed.I had a tear in my aorta and had three stent graphs put in there to patch it up.I'm feeling pretty good now but recovery is taking longer than I thought. Might be tough to see but my Omen collection was squashed due to poor packaging. I give Amazon a call about said packaging and they refunded my money and let me keep the set because they cannot send me a replacement. I guess that is a good Omen?! Ha, first world problems but the discs look fine.

Watched They're Watching last night...... Had a hard time stomaching the annoying crew member and equally annoying (in a Tourette's sort of way) host of the show. Special effects were pretty laughable as well. Was ok overall I suppose..... 2.5 Doina bars

Unfortunately, the 70MM 4.1 channel audio was out of sync with movie reviewers. So shout has delayed the release for a bit so they can fix the audio. But I have heard that this edition is going to be bad ass compared to the old BD version. I got the email from Shout! yesterday and I was about to email them about getting free shipping because of it! But nah, I am just being a cheap ass lol!

Oh I forgot to add I sampled The Blair Witch Project BD, specifically the director commentary and it was pretty cool! The directors and 5 other people basically messed with them in the woods and at times gave them situations and lines so the story can progress. The deleted ending scene with Mike levitating in the basement was pretty freaky!

Any mysterious dog sightings, any strange incidents along with massive invisible choral movements, meet anyone called Ann Rutledge recently? If all of these can be answered no, then the omen is good

For a creepy movie try "13 Cameras" on Netflix. About a creepy landlord who installs a bunch of hidden security cameras in a house he rents to a young couple so he can get his jollies. Three and a half drill bits.

I found this one kinda hard to watch. The landlord gives me the creeps, almost makes my skin crawl. I'll go with 3 1/2 paper towel rolls.

I'm late to the party but re upped my sub to Hulu and saw 11/23/63. Highly recommended. Nice King Eggs hidden throughout. Hulu now canceled.

IOW, the actor did a good job of selling the part.

October fun: 31 days of Horror, Blood, Guts and Gore! (and zombies, too....)

This week I watched first two Omen movies in the box set. Of course the first movie is a classic and second one isn't bad at all. I will watch the third one starring Sam Neill of Event Horizon fame tonight.

If any folks here haven't added this to your library, it is worth it for the price. Pretty cool extras on the first movie on how Richard Donner went about the film. Gotta love Gregory Pecks performance and the kid that played Damien!

LOL, you're too much, Steve! We're nearly the same age, so that makes you fairly young. I'm nowhere near retirement, though

My current job let's you vest in 8 years and I've got 5 in. If I stay until I'm 65, if they don't change the rules, I'm guaranteed the average of my highest paid 4 years every month. Not a bad setup. Just have to stay employed with the state in some fashion.

Vesting in my union is 5 years. After you reach 60,000 hrs you are eligible for retirement at any age. I was 2 years shy of my 60,000 before my medical issue. So I was close either way. The only thing that sucks is sorting out the health insurance.

For more "creepy character" stuff try "The Gift" which I watched on Showtime (via Hulu) last night. It stars Jason Bateman and Rebecca hall and the Joel Edgerton, who wrote and directed plays the creepy guy. Three and a half gift boxes.

Hulu was giving me fits about 9 PM as the movie was playing fine in 1080 and then suddenly dropped down to some awful lores (like what they use for promos while they are back buffering HD). Finally got the 1080 back. The timing on these (it happened Weds too) is like folks finishing the Olympics and deciding to stream something and Akamai (Hulu's CDN) can't handle it.

Yes I have. I have both, The New Order and The Old Blood, on Steam. Both are worth playing.
