Finally got my new Roku hooked up to my projector so I could watch The Devil's Candy on the big screen! Excellent horror movie! Great performances by the actors, great use of heavy music, and it benefited from its brutally tight focused approach (runtime of only 80 minutes!), making this one a winner.

Director Sean Byrne (The Loved Ones) proves he is really one of the most exciting new voices in the horror genre working today. See it!

Hulu has a bunch of new horror films listed today (look under genres). Note that some are on Showtime (I have the add-on) such as this one:

Not at the moment, I rented on Amazon. It's so good. I love it when these come out of nowhere.

You still need the Showtime subscription through Hulu to watch Showtime content in Hulu.

Attack of the Lederhosen Zombies is also playing on the Showtime and The Movie Channel cable channels. DVR set.

VUDU. I already have a VUDU account but this was the first time I did a paid rental. Usually I just enter my BD code numbers there and don't watch them.

Found a nice little gem in We Go On. Its a Shudder exclusive that I watched with my Amazon Shudder subscription. A must see if you have access to it.

Or if you really want to see it then it's for rent on some of the usual suspects from $4 on up.

Looks great. I'm a fan of the miniseries they made way back when. You should start an "It" thread in the movie section.

No, I opted to watch the first episode of "Harlots" on Hulu last night. I hardly doubt that "Lederhosen Zombies" would come near that show. Made me think "Hulu goes HBO" but was surprisingly good not to mention that their 1080p looked better than any Netflix 1080p but it was probably "unofficial" 4K like we got "unofficial 1080p" way before last December.

That trailer has me really excited to see this movie! Love the look of it! I've heard some comparing the look to "Stranger Things" (which I also enjoyed) but this seems to have some real horror teeth to it!

Of course, I've been hurt by Stephen King adaptations before, so I'm still a little wary.

Saw 'Life', I can see why the critics liked it, a lot of the characters are intelligent and developed. Now to why we would want to see it.
It's not an 'Alien' clone, there is an alien life form of course. This film goes a little heavier into the Sci of Sci-Fi/ horror then most films. Think Europa Report, Andromeda Strain, and maybe a little Gravity thrown in for good measure, now mix in those films with a life form from another planet that should have never left that planet, a little 'Predator' and a little John Carpenter influence (But not like 'The Thing'). Stir well and be surprised. Those who have seen it already will know what I mean by the Carpenter influence.
