I don't have Syfy. You missed that one.

Blood Drive was a bloody hoot and they didn't censor anything. F bombs were flying left and right. Good old fashioned mayhem. The "Oxy Clean" fake commercial was pretty good too.

Watched A Cure for Wellness. Thought this one was excellent! Everything that had to do with the visuals/shots was simply great. Awesome bass throughout too.

There is a weirdness (in a good sense) to this film that sticks with you for awhile.

It's like a Corman movie, but done well and played straight. My favorite Romero film is still 'Land of the Dead'

It's like you go in expecting Death Race but get Excalibur.

Land of the Dead is very underrated.

For those without the cable but have Hulu "The Strain" season 3 is available.

Power Rangers. Didn't suck. It's a fun flick. I had aged out of the show so have very little knowledge or nostalgia for the property but this movie is cool.

WYRMWOOD, ROAD OF THE DEAD. Just watched this on Netflix. Finally a zombie movie I really liked!!! Ton of blood, just something neat about this movie that I really enjoyed. A little different than the average zombie movie, although the same basic premise of zombies.

never take life seriously

I slummed it again last night with "Cave" a Norwegian thriller on Netflix that they just added. It's dubbed and there is no Norwegian language track. The options are English and Spanish. It was so-so.

Not horror but added was "El Chapo". If you have a 4K TV and Netflix 4K service this is probably worth watching for the 4K as about every scene including dark ones are very sharp. However it's not "Narcos". It's a Univision production and a couple cuts above a History Channel documentary's dramatization scenes, so a bit "mechanical". However the story interests me enough to watch the season. At least it's a narrative rather than yet another stand up comedy act in 4K.

Blood Drive looks bad ass!! Got it saved to my record list, so hopefully they re-air the first episode.

Watched Get Out last night. Definitely as good as advertised.

Or watch the first episode of "Blood Drive" for free on the streaming service of your choice. I did so on VUDU which has a high quality video and audio stream. Not sure I would buy the series and would be interested if anyone like Netfix or Hulu has dibs on it.

I watched "Havenhurst" on Netflix last night. Stars Julie Benz ("Dexter") and Toby Huss ("Halt and Catch Fire"). I would give it a slightly tilted up thumb.

I was too lazy to confirm if SyFy was re-airing it or not, but was hoping the my DVR would automatically pick it up if it did.

And yes, just saw that Amazon has the first episode streaming free. Thanks for the updates fellas!

The Recall starring Wesley Snipes is a perfect Friday night midnight movie. It borrows heavily from Independence Day and Fire In The Sky, so no new amazing ground breaking stuff, but is still fun. Probably in the same quality tier as the recent Extraterrestrial. It does have a few really great moments and a good ending. Give it a go.

Also forgot to add, Man Vs. It's on Netflix. Basically Bear Grylls vs Predator but super cheap cgi. Still fun.
