As I wrote in the BD-thread I was disappointed with T4, it was better than T3 but even a McGyver episode is better than T3

What ruined it for me.

1. Stupid CGI stunt scenes (motobike flying into the HK engine...wtf!)
2. Action-story-template A1
3. Christian Bale, while a good choice for JC, IMO, didn't deliver.
4. Too prolonged close quarter fights with terminators....come on, one punch from one of those would surely criple you badly.

If you look back on T1 and T2, pretty much none of the fights are prolonged out of logic.
They could actually have done something interesting with the story, I thought the Marcus character and beginning was a pretty interesting take on the story. But then they did a epic fail and returned to point 2 above.

Stahl no doubt portrayed only a lost stray dog without a bone.

That is an excellent way to say it.

Once again the cyborg stole the show, and the human characters were relegated to be expendable cardboard cut outs.

Isn't that always the case?

How come noone ever mentions the fact that some of the robots in this movie had on bandanas? When the hell did the terminators become fashionistas?
I also hate the fact that this movie had so much potential for awesome acrion, and even failed at that, too.The action scenes-completely forgettable.

So was Haley Joel in Sixth Sense, and by a quiet few years younger, but witch one delivered a more mature performance?

No, the first 2 movies had strong human characters. Sarah in both, and Kyle in the first one.

Now that you mentioned it, I did found that odd if not overly distracting.

Two very different characters.
One is an ordinary mixed up suburban kid and the other is a ghost/angel or whatever.

Why was the guy's wife completely unattractive. And was she SUPPOSED to be pregnant in the movie? Or was the actress just pregnant when they were shooting it? Because they never even dealt with that at all.

This movie wasn't as bad as Transformers 2, and it wasn't even as bad as Die Hard 4, but it was trying hard. The pilot chick was really the only reason I sat through the end of the movie, in the vain hopes she's have more screentime, you know, just like, standing around or whatever. I would have far preferred that for this movie. In fact, I should have just downloaded some pictures of her, made a little slideshow on the computer and called it good.

lol I like that. I guess were all hoping she reveal some more. Like the girl in Hitman when she tried to seduce him and he wasnt intrested. If that was me all the training would of been a waste

I know plenty of kids about Connor's age in T2 who act as whiny and annoying as he did in that movie. I know no kids the age that Osment was supposed to be in The Sixth Sense who behave anything even remotely like he did.

That made me laugh. Loudly.

Stephen.

Chances are very good that I was drinking when I posted the above.

Damn shame Furlong was unable to work...

Really? I found that point to be very believable in T3. They made a good argument for it to with John believing his mother was crazy, having hazy memories of the events that occurred in his childhood, wanting a 'normal' life and not believing he was anyone special. Was I the only one who thought that was a good character arc for him and worked well?

I almost threw up in my mouth though when Arnold stumbled around saying 'I.. AM.. A.. MACHINE!!!'.. ugh.
