I was looking to buy this box set:
"] (sorry, it's my third post so I can't put a direct link)
on Amazon so I can watch one movie in particular on there. I'm thinking of buying this box set because it comes out cheaper in the long run, since this box set with 20 movies, is just a few dollars more than the one movie I want to see, that's also on dvd by itself.
The only thing holding me back is something my friend told me. He said that when he uses Nero to put movies on a dvd, that Nero notifies him that the more movies he tries to fit on one disc, the image quality of the movies lessen. I don't know what methods the studio uses to put these films on dvd but I imagine since this box set comes with 20 movies on 4 discs, then logically there would be 5 movies on each disc. Although, I'm unsure if that's the case here.
So if what my friend says is true, then am I going to be watching movies with worse quality as opposed to one movie on one dvd? If so, I might as well just get the single film I want to see. Also, assuming there is a difference in quality, would you say it is noticeable compared to a single movie on one disc?
I did a search on google and here on the forums, regarding this subject, using different key words but didn't come up with anything relevant. Maybe, I was just using the wrong key words.
Thanks in advance.
