Malena- Monica Bellucci
Runners up--Irreversible, How Much Do You Love Me, Brotherhood of the Wolf, Shoot 'Em Up. Titles are listed in order of "Exposure" not favorites per se but Malena is a great movie.

In the 70's, for me, it was Teri Garr

In the 80's, it was Michelle Pfeiffer

I went through a few in the 90's...nothing very memorable. Maybe more Michelle.

2000+ and currently is Rose McGowan

Dang, thehun, I was thinking of Rita in "Gilda," also.

How long until we see "Megan Fox in Transformers" as an answer to the thread question? No comparison to a classic like Rita.

Well, i have to admit, after I watched the movie(which I enjoyed) she was the #1 thing I remembered/thought of. Now, like alot of people, I like her to go away for a little while, but with a new movie coming out, she will be all over the place again.

I guess for me, I would have to say these movies where the female lead was just smoking(look up the the pictures yourself ) and was the main reason I could watch a film over and over and over....:

1. PHOEBE CATES from Fast Times at Ridgemount High. Come on. Anyone who was at least 10 years old(I was. Saw the movie for the first time on VHS when they began to grow in about 1983-1984) when this film came out, KNEW Phoebe was SMOKING HOT. And everybody wanted her, and went back to watch the film again, and again, just for her.

2. MIA SARA as Sloane Peterson from Ferris Buller's Day off. Again, awesome movie like Fast Times, but she was just so damn good looking in this movie. Wished she was my girlfriend when I was in Junior High.

3. CHRISTIE BRINKLEY from National Lampoon's Vacation. Again, come on. Also a really funny movie(Chevy at his best alone with evryone else involved), but she made you want to see it again and again. At least me.

Boy, at this point I am having a hard time thinking of women/girls who were in the movies growing up and until now, wher they were the best thing in/about/rememered in the movie. Whether the movie was good or not.

This is something I have to think about since most of the hotties back in the 80's were either supermodels, or were on TV.

That is all I have for now.

Three actresses come easily into mind:

1) Christianne Gout from the 1999 French film Salsa. Just watch her dance in the following clip and you will know what I mean. She literally sets the screen on fire.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DLIRO...eature=related

2) Paz Vega in Carmen. Simply, an enchanting performance. She was also mesmerising in Spanglish.

3) Maria Grazia Cucinotta in Il Postino.

Just three examples of women who are genuinely hot, keep things real and down to earth, with none of the superficial, pretentious and "look at me! I am so hot!" attitude that so many young American actresses today exbibit (sorry, Megan).

Wholeheartedly agree with Paz Vega in Carmen, Sex and Lucia, and Spanglish, but Dude the Salsa chic looks like a butter face compared to Paz

or Monica Bellucci or Megan Fox, Salma Hayek, Jessica Alba, etc...

She is definitley better looking than trinity in the Matrix Reloaded. If I was neo I would ofr dumped Trinity and taken Monica

In Revolution she looked hot in that night club. Especially in red.

Yes on Scarlett in the Island. You should check out Match Point. Those loose strings of hair in her face by the pool table.

Yes. Those are too good examples of movies where the lead actress is just smoking hot.

In The Fabulous Baker Boys, when Michelle Pfeiffer is singing on the piano with her red dress. I'm a pianist, but this time I just wanted to be a piano.

And... Kate, of course, Kate, always Kate

Monica Bellucci(Malena), Kate Winslet(Titanic), Marilyn Monroe(Some Like it Hot), Carla Gugino(Sin City), Natalie Portman(Closer) and Audrey Hepburn(Breakfast at Tiffany's) are probably my favourites in no particular order.

For TV ladies, my favourite is probably Leah Remini from King of Queens. Especially after she lost the weight, but kept the yummy curves. Oh baby!

The first that came to mind for me was Salma Hayek in Desperado.
My new crush is Mila Kunis from Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I never found her all that great in That 70's Show, but for some reason she looked amazing in that movie. Kristen Bell didnt look too bad either.

Eva Green looked pretty decent to me when she played in 007 Casino Royal. But she was simply awesome in "The Dreamers". That movie was made back when Eva was perfectly in her prime and willing to go naked too.

My vote also goes to Sandra Bullock and Nichol Kidman for looking hot in "Practical Magic" too.

I agree with Mia Sara in Ferris Beuler. Very nice. Some others that come to mind:

1. Milla Jovovich in The Fifth Element. I mean fughidibowtit.
2. Kate Winslet in Eternal Sunshine, for some reason really worked for me
3. Gwenneth Paltrow in Shakespeare in Love, and any number of others
4. Charlize Theron in Devils Advocate, and any number of others
5. Ashley Judd in this strange little flick called Normal Life

I'm sure that there are a lot of others but I'm completely blanking out. Probably a good thing.
