Hell, I'd wager that Seagal right now would kick the **** out of Statham.

Screen presence has nothing to do with size. Just look at Jet Li. It just happens that Li or Staham are also actors, and they do have charismatic screen presence. Seagal has none of it, regardless of how good he is/was at martial arts. The guy who played Darth Maul, Ray Park, has more charisma than Seagal, I'm not sure he's much of an actor though. But this guy means business as well!

Li would kick the ass out of them all. Case closed.

Who? If you man Ray Parker, then yes. Because there are a pair of cookbooks, mostly desserts if not all, titled Wookies Cookies and Darth Malt.

Don't ask why I know this, but you can probably guess. Haha!

I just find it funny we are not the only ones who noticed him and the Gun motiff.

I hope Charisma is in it also. It is filming now.

According to imdb she's not in the sequel, swedish actress Amanda Ooms is the only female name among the guys for now...

The guys on Inside MMA were pushing the movie 13 but RT it's at 8%. I don't care if you liked it or hate it...if you seen it pls leave your 2 cents.

Thankfully there was Never backed down 2 tonight at BB which is supposedly good so I got that instead and wait for more feedback on 13.

In spite of it being very far-fetched, I thought KE was pretty good too...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killer_Elite_(film)
Maybe it's because I like the main actors.

Sometimes we give in and forget the actors take a gig to pay the rent. Obviously, their idea of 'The Rent' might differ from ours by a factor of 40, but WTF.

I'll admit being suckered into watching a few piles just to see if it's true. It Is... and the Extremely Large Gun Poster is a hint 99.99% of the time.
Actually I'm under estimating the percentage a bit.

Jason Statham walks all over Steven Seagal. Jason's an actual athlete, even professional, Seagal was maybe an amateur athlete a long time ago for a little while. Seagal and his guns and pseudo-role in law enforcement and politics are just plain scary. Statham wins by a mile and he's a waaaaaaay better actor.

I saw in Men's Health a while back what Statham uses for a workout routine to get in shape (which he is in and Seagal has long ago given up on). It was simply brutal and I seriously doubt Seagal could have ever done it at all...

ps Who cares about advertising for movies?

"I realize that somebody playing free music isn't as commercial as a hamburger stand. But is it because you can eat a hamburger and hold it in your hand and you can't do that with music? Is it too free to control?" - Don Van Vliet (aka Captain Beefheart) discussing commercial success in the music biz

Hollywood Studios Drop Massive Amounts of Money on Advertising Movies to You

Have you ever wondered what studios spend on marketing movies to sway you to spend your money on their movies in the theaters? Hollywood spends around $4 billion per year marketing to you and the movie goer in the United States spends almost $10 billion a year at the box office.

^I'm in.

I, for one, enjoy watching him as an Action Hero.
IMO, he is the best currently out there.
Sure, it is pretty much the same character, but no one ever criticized John Wayne for pretending to be a cowboy.

But John Wayne didn't just play Cowboys. Jason Statham is a single character actor.

LOL - the only thing you wonder about at the beginning of his movies is:

How many explosions?
What will the body count be?
Where is the car chase located and what's he driving?
How many gravity defing fights are in the movie?
