What would otherwise be easily dismissed as a typical Rom-Com (see similarly-plotted No Strings Attached) seems to have more of an edge to it, and I'm a sucker for anything Mila Kunis:

I would enjoy that. Even if that's all that was good about it, watching Mila in her undies works for me.

This is one of the funniest (and smartest) rom-coms I have ever seen.
So so many LOL moments.

Fine performances...Timberlake and Kunis have great chemistry here.
The banter between the 2 is a joy.

Also, the depiction of sex is one of the most authentic I can recall.

A definite BD buy for me.

While Crazy Stupid Love was my fave of last year for comedies and/or rom-coms, this one also was up there for me as well. Enjoyed it quite a bit.

I agree 100% I found it thoroughly enjoyable and it made my collection.

I added this one to my queue. I presume I meant to above, but never got around to it. Even if it sucked I could look at Mila for a couple hours no problem.

I enjoyed this one too. Not really sure how I feel about the dick in the box guy, but Mila is a charmer.

I don't lurk as much as I used to and I NEVER listen. Comes from being old and cynical.

I agree with those of you who liked Friends With Benefits. I saw it in the theater last summer, mostly because I like both Mila Kunis and Justin Timberlake. I thought it was a lot of fun and that both Kunis and Timberlake were appealing. There's nothing new in the film but it is filled with raunchily comic moments and moves along quickly.

I was expecting 'bad' and got 'pretty good.'

Allow me to be the lone dissenter.

We've seen this how many times before? You knew the ending before it began. The first 10 minutes were nothing but a swear fest. I can endure swearing, but every other word was from the gutter and served no purpose other than to hook the high school crowd. Fortunately, they toned it down the more it went on.

I spent the entire movie fantasizing about Mila Kunis. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I was able to fanaticize about her without the need to concentrate on the movie because I knew where this was going. The nice thing about this movie is it didn't require one functioning brain cell to watch.

The funniest parts were with Woody Harrelson and Richard Jenkins. Richard's were by far the best; I just liked Woody's outrageousness. Patricia Clarkson once again shows what a versatile actress she truly is. These three carried the movie, IMO. Mila - cute and sexy. Timberlake - nothing special. Both have done much better. In the end, my fantasy was much better than the movie.

Saw this last night. Mila and Justin were just pretty-faced "bush league" amateurs at this kind of a script, and the movie was a tiresome dreck until the more senior craftsmen like Woody, Richard Jenkins and Jenna Elfman entered the scene.

My wife picked this movie thinking it was a rom-com. We both ended up regretting the time wasted on this dreck that had neither convincing portrayals of romance or comedy.
