Early review is fairly positive, though mostly because of Paul Rudd

Paul Rudd is very talented and because he seems so average, but isn't. I'd love to see him play an over-the-top villian.

I don't lurk as much as I used to and I NEVER listen. Comes from being old and cynical.

I saw this one and liked it a lot. Paul Rudd, IMO, shows quite a lot of growth as an actor here, even though it really is mostly just a silly comedy. He's clearly riffing on The Dude quite a bit, and he looks so completely different with the heavy facial hair that it's hard to remember it's him sometimes. All the characters and situations and relationships are pretty funny, though it's not a laughing wildly type of movie for the most part. It's a more gentle type of comedy, but I enjoyed it a lot. I watched it a couple times before I sent it back and enjoyed both viewings.

This was not nearly as funny and entertaining as another comedy That's my boy. A lot more crass, but great soundtrack from rush, kiss, motley crue, and ice ice baby.
