Yeah I read that Kim Novak was upset with the director.

If you go to the critic reviews on Rotten Tomatoes there is almost universal acclaim for this film. I had to page all the way to the end of the review listing before finding a critical review that I thought was pretty interesting...whether you agree with it or not.
