Looks totally awesome is what Jeff spicoli would have said. I for one didn't think the 1st one was all that bad at all really. This one screams amazing CGI and f/x, did you guys see those crazy trippin bad guys and creatures in this trailer? I can almost guarantee from all the backlash the 1st one got, they listened and this one is going to be sweet.

Geezzuz! This looks really good! Is it me or all these new movies looking way too awesome for their own good? Or maybe the guys in charge of making trailers remembered how to make awesome trailers again? Thank gawd cuz I love trailers.

The first one was a stinker... hope this one makes up for that.

yeah - his hair doesn't scream demig-god though!

looks nice but I wonder how the audience will respond, sword/sandals/titans...I don't know, maybe the "moment has passed". And FFS I'm myself a big fan of Marilyn Manson but Sweet Dreams with this film????... Are the 14 y.o boys NOT able to appreciate what others call 'film score'?... That constant video game vibe for some movies is just pissing me off.

I hate rock music or rap music or techno music in trailers. Hate it.

Visually, this thing looks cool. But of course, the first one sucked because the script sucked and the post release studio tampering made it worse.

I know, that was kinda weird. They should have kept the spartan bald cut like he had in the 1st one.

I have no idea who thought that was a good idea, esp for an historic drama. So other than than the music and his mismatched haircut in the trailer, hopefully it won't effect the movie.

Couldn't agree more. And a cover of an 80's Euro-pop song, ugh!

Little late to the party. I just saw this trailer for the first time over the weekend. I had no idea they were making a sequel to Clash. Who would've thunk?

Its actually a great cover by Marilyn Manson, but it was originally used for the House on Haunted Hill remake back in the mid-90s lol..

^^^ lol - kinda speaks for itself

Besides, Neeson, Fiennes, and Worthington... JC has none of these names unfortunately... I'm sure Wrath can do well, right now I'm just wondering how the Hunger Games tsunami will affect it...

I'm torn on this. I really disliked the first movie, but the sequel basically looks like a God of War movie...

I mentioned to my boss wife, who has always been a big fan of the original, this new sequel opens Friday...
I was informed asked if I would to provide a limo escort her to the local cineplex...
Naturally, I complied. will be delighted to do so....

Reviews are coming out and it's bad. Even the positive reviews are kinda so-so. No surprise. I was thinking of hitting a discounted matinee if the reviews were decent. Now I can save myself $7.

Clash was too short and seemed VERY rushed. Like they cut out ALOT of content just to get through the movie.

I hope wrath is different. However based on the reviews it seems more of the same.
This franchise could have been so much better with the right director.

...From Roger Ebert: "and finally I found myself wondering, just for the heck of it, how the movie might have played with a more traditional approach. You know. Literate, concise dialogue. Characters we care about, with relationships that have meaning for us. Action set-pieces within well-established spatial boundaries. Pacing that doesn't hurtle past us faster than the human ability to develop interest. You know, that kind of stuff."

http://www.rogerebert.com/apps/pbcs....IEWS/120329982

...I'll probably see it but my expectations are certainly not high.
