Make Believe (2010)

http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/70140543?strkid=469023396_0_0&trkid=222336&movieid=70140543

A coming of age journey set in the quirky subculture of magic, this film follows six of the world's best young magicians as they battle for the title of Teen World Champion.

From the makers of The King of Kong. This was really good. The amount of time and effort these kids put into their routines is amazing.

Terriers. (Netflix streaming)

http://m.imdb.com/title/tt1493239/

FX channel, 13 episodes one season show about two private detectives set in Ocean Beach San Diego.

It will go by fast and you'll wish there was a second season. Good writing and characters.

Browsing today and found The Warriors is available in HD and it doesn't have all the added comic book nonsense in the DC. Good stuff.

He Was a Quiet Man (2007)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0760311/combined

Dark and strange, but I enjoyed it very much. It's a quirky little black comedy about a quiet, suicidal/homicidal cubicle office worker starring Christian Slater, William H. Macy, and Elisha Cuthbert. They all turn in good performances, but Slater carries the movie as the lead. Everything is quirky -- from the story, to the wardrobe, to the plot, the narrative, and the cinematography. I recommend it if you like dark and weird independent movies. This is bold territory for movies, and I appreciate that filmmakers and actors are willing to do films like this.
