A real challenge finding a scene in Down By Law that isn't readily recognizable. I guess I failed the challenge. It was a tossup for me using the street scene or the shot of Luigi's Tintop

Bingo!

A great film, based (rather loosely) on a true story. It was Matt Dillon's first film, has a GREAT soundtrack, and was a source of inspiration for Dazed and Confused. But, unlike Dazed and Confused, it was filmed during the time period it was depicting.

Here's another screenshot:

Remembering Donna Reed as wife and mother in It's a Wonderful Life as the perfect mom in her own series, it always startles me to see her as a dance hall girl (=Hayes Code prostitute) in this film.

No review this time; nothing to say.

She had a couple other of the more "adult" roles besides this one. She could be pretty sexy.
