Sorry for the technical digression, but we link to posts in other threads here (you all read my capsule reviews, right?...RIGHT?) and the way that worked in the previous two AVS software versions is not currently working, meaning it has been busted for a few months.

If you look at a posting, for example my review of Harvey in the 1979 thread, in the upper right you will see "post #1350 of 1353". The numbers aren't important, but the text itself is a "permalink" which you are supposed to be able to use to link to the post from the outside. Sadly, the "perma" is lacking and this is not a reliable technique given that people have different post counts per page, and some do newest-first vs oldest first.

What seems to be a solution is to use the bbcode "post" tag, where the target is the unique number at the end of the permalink. For example, if I use this:

[post=26331921]Harvey (1950)[/post]

...it will produce this link:

Harvey (1950)

...which I think is good no matter how many posts per page you have, or whether you use oldest/newest first.

I'll do that from now on, but older posts here will have to fend for themselves. Maybe the existing permalink mechanism will be fixed.

The Harvey link just above is a differently formatted link which is probably a better permalink which I'm guessing would work from outside of AVS.

With Bill Smith at the town park in Jackson. If you buy one monkey movie you get two.

When I was there years ago someone asked me: "How many elk died to make that arch?" Answer: zero.

Correct. Completely OOP as far as I can see. This is a Laserdisc dupe.

I saw it on cable years ago. If it wasn't for the "Gold Coast Flyer Retires" headline I might not have remembered it. Big fan of Burt and Kirk.

Based on the second image, I would take a guess that the title should be "Generic Indiana Jones Rip-Off #227 ". :-)

No, I've never heard of that.

Chances are good I'm the only one here as has seen (or heard of?) this one. (That is NOT a clue; wait the proper 48 hours).

I think we should exclude anything that originally aired on the Hallmark or SyFy channel.

Oh! I was about to give you a point and ask "Did you really recognize this?" Welcome to the game anyway! And thanks for being scrupulous.

Still available to anyone who didn't see the deleted response. We're still in the "no research" period.

Did you have a year in mind? Well, it's not any of them, but I ask that people provide dates for often-remade films.
