Correct. Just out on BD From Shout Factory. Not much of an upgrade from the DVD.

It's a masochistic romantic comedy.

I had a strange experience when seeing this in the theater. I was visiting in another state, Friday night, big happy crowd.

Early on, one of the characters said "Can I get you a coffee?" Crowd explodes with hysterical laughter, men crying.

Later: "Oh, let's go crazy and have an orange juice." People fall rolling in the aisles, practically peeing themselves.

I can't explain it. They were ready to be entertained.

I wanted to see this because I have seen Perdita Weeks on UK TV, and as it turns out those tunnels and catacombs beneath Paris are pretty cool. Must have been a difficult shoot.

One tiny little drawback: it's a plotless mess. Too ridiculous to be scary.

Sorry to hear the BD isn't much of an upgrade. I see that's a shared opinion. I enjoyed the movie, but haven't seen it in years. Need to move the DVD over to the watch soon position.

Good movie, stellar cast, with a quality BR release.

PSH will be missed.

Yes. It's Groundhog Day after all.

A classic - one of many dedicated to bad meteorology. After revisiting this film it finally dawned on me that the young couple featured Michael Shannon - last seen by me as General Zod in Man of Steel. The movie itself never fails to entertain me.

It's a pretty standard 80s action/thriller, with Gene Hackman and Tommy Lee Jones for star power. It's worth a look if you liked The Fugitive: similar look with the same director and composer, Chicago locations and familiar supporting cast (local actors?).
