This is another one of those "I know exactly who that is, but I don't know the movie" ones. Something tells me that it's not such a bad thing that I don't know this movie. This actress was always terrific eye candy though.

Um I know that's the lovely Caroline Munro,... STAR CRASH is my guess. Or that very forgettable alien invasion movie with Christopher Lee. Pffft.

I've seen this done in a film, EAT DRINK MAN WOMAN probably. JOY LUCK CLUB maybe.
I'll give you Starcrash, but by the rules you most give one solution at a time.

* * *

Starcrash was the big film at my one and only SF convention. I never imagined I'd see it again, but was thinking about Caroline Munro after seeing her in Captain Kronos a while ago. When undubbed she has a posh British accent so it is odd to see her in a leather bikini as Stella Star, space smuggler.

To anyone who hasn't seen it by now, it is probably too late for you. "So bad it's good" actually doesn't work that well; most people can take about 15 minutes of giggling and then want to watch something better.

The Shout Factory packaging is very nice, though, with a ton of extras, and a booklet by a fan who first saw it when he was too young to know better. He has stayed loyal.

Haha, Rules are rules, my bad.

My brain kept saying,"the film with ex-evangelist Marjo Gortner," but the logical side answered, "No, your memory of those years is pretty damn vague, despite being a loyal STARLOG and CINEFANTASTIQUE reader" (possibly have an issue with the STAR CRASH review in it). Those who sniff at it should sit through ICE PIRATES or BATTLE BEYOND THE STARS as penance....

IMHO Ms Munro was underutilized in THE SPY WHO LOVED ME. Fairly well used in the Harryhausen Sinbad flick (Golden Voyage?); hm, YES, lots of bodice-wearing and statuesque posing. Nearly carried off by the cyclopean Centaur IIRC (he had great taste).

Here's another in a futurustic [sic] vein....

If this comes out in a US region DVD (or better, BD) I will buy it so fast ... so fast....
