I knew this one was from a movie that I had seen but I couldn't put my finger on it. I figured a Clint Eastwood movie would be a safe guess.

Cool Western/Science Fiction flick. ...Totally out of this world. ...With one very cute actress, Olivia Wilde.

I'd recognize those ears anywhere. ... It was actually a fun movie, and Harrison Ford was clearly relishing playing a hard case.

Peter, it's very hard to guess the movies when the images you're posting are such low quality. For the next one, can you try to find higher-resolution images from the movie?

The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man in the Moon Marigolds. It's based on a play by Paul Zindel, which my high school performed way back in the day. He also wrote The Pigman, which was required reading in our high school as well.

Great guess. Did you know it or did the hint give it away?

Brendon Fraser is the child of an Christopher Walken and Alicia Silverston during the 1960's bomb scares. Walken is an inventor and builds an elaborate bomb shelter with an entire house, backyard, market, hydroponic farm and support network under their house. When Kennedy broadcasts his Cuba speech, they retreat underground just as a jet with engine trouble crashes into their house. Mistaking it for a nuclear attack, they lock themselves in their bomb shelter for 35 years. Brendon Fraser eventually ventures out into Los Angeles to obtain food and supplies for his family. He discovers a whole new world including girls in the form of Sissy Spacek. The movie is really funny and very endearing.
