Arrow 'Pandorum'

I have the Blu-ray; I like the soundtrack, and the ending.

* Nothing impressive; the 48-hour period has expired.

1989. He has only one scene and, as you say, is credited as "Black Guy".

In his bit the police have sent "breakfast with the Yankees" invitations and game tickets to a list of people with outstanding warrants. The bad news: the Yankees aren't coming. The director says this gimmick was really done by the police.

Also with a young John Goodman.

In retrospect the film is a pretty average crime thriller with some steamy scenes. For my next clue I was going to use Ellen Barkin, about to give Pacino a bit of the the old "up against the wall -- and spread 'em" routine:

When I lived in Alabama, I remember the yearly story of using Iron Bowl tickets for this exact purpose. I was amazed that people fell for it what seemed like every year.

Here's an example of when they used it to catch deadbeat parents;

The author of that article needs to look up "entrapment" in a law dictionary. These guys were definitely trapped, but not entrapped.

Features one of my favorite lines, courtesy of Gene Kelly playing a fictionalized H. L. Mencken , IIRC:

I dunno why but Tapatalk leaves out some paragraphs of your posts, probably an issue with list codes. Sigh.

My problem with this one is that it has impressive effects but doesn't go anywhere. Aren't horror films supposed to make at least a gesture toward an explanation? Nothing like that here.

I don't even remember Jackson being outside the hotel in that movie, let alone driving a car. I was going to guess Changing Lanes but he wore glasses in that one. Oh well, there you are.
