The Man Who Knew Too Much (1934). My mind went into a freeze on that first pic. It had Hitch's German Expressionism influence all over it but just couldn't place it. Then again, maybe I shouldn't be counting my eggs too soon...

No doubt about it. Premiered in June 2013. Got a very limited release in the U.S. - 19 theaters for 2 weeks.

CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), quality = 90

In the UK it was titled Hummingbird, in France Crazy Joe and in the U.S. Redemption. A change of pace for Jason Statham who gets to do a little more character acting than usual but with the trademark Statham kick-ass moments. A traumatized Afghanistan veteran who returns to the UK and lives as a homeless person until events force a change in the course of his life. One unusual set piece is that he gets to romance a nun.

Why was it titled Hummingbird? You'll have to see the movie to understand. If you're a Statham fan you'll enjoy it, if you're not - then you're not. 7/10.

I think Phlegm Hankie got it, but All Quiet is an absolutely riveting, brilliant film, and still one of the finest anti-war films ever made.

By the way: I'm going to post a series of thumbnails to The Official BD Wishlist and "When or will this movie come out on BD? thread.

The theme is "classic color films that might look really fine on Blu-ray".

Commences here.
