This is a VERY fine movie...one I won't soon forget.

Initially, I thought this was just another teeny flick....
Oh, contraire....only mature adults can really grasp the subtleties here.

This is a gutsy, tough movie by Mr. Chbosky....
IF it doesn't work, the blame all falls on him.

Hermoine Emma Watson is nothing short of Terrific.

Will be adding this to the collection.smile.gif

Now you have really piqued my interests.

We agree that Wallflower is a film for big boys and girls. I loved the way in which Chbosky could entertain and yet move us at the same time. If I say so myself, we are a pretty tough audience around here but Wallflower seems to have passed muster with virtually all of us who have seen it. I am moving later this week and my plate is so full right now, I couldn't watch the film again very soon even if I bought the BD right now. I will, however, buy it once the dust settles.

When The Perks of Being a Wallflower showed up on Showtime, I decided to watch it again and see if I thought it was as good as I had when I saw it in the theater, nearly a year ago. I did. As sweet and funny as the film often is, it is in some ways even darker and sadder than I had realized. Perks is a one of a kind film; it has passed into my pantheon of best loved movies.

This movie went from typical teen coming of age movie to something a lot more gripping and dark-ish in such a sly way. The first half hour or so I was considering switching it off, and by the end I was fully invested, but never sure when it had changed.

The scene towards the end where Charlie was having the fast motion flashback slideshow felt very personal and real. Real nice job of putting this one together.

I'm happy to hear so many people embrace it and see it for what it is. I love this movie. It was touching, emotional, thought provoking, and real.

I LOVE MOVIES!!!!!!!!!!!!

This can't possibly be any good if it was made within the last 30 years </hitchfan>

Took me close to a whole year to watch this film. Loved it, I thought it was really well done.
Percy Jackson character did a great job as well as Emma Watson.
