Yeah, I saw that last night.

Is anyone else disappointed about the lack of extras on the BD?

I rented the BD at Redbox and recall there were extras.

Pretty good movie. I thought the final scene was a little weak when they went for the kill. There seemed to be very little suspense and the seal team really did not meet any resistance. It was like 30 elite seal members vs 4 dudes. I thought the low budget Seal Team Six did a better job for the final 'extraction' of OBL.

This film is supposed to be truthful to the raid. So if that is what happened then that is what happened.

or so they say.

I enjoyed the film, though I didn't like the sound mix during the first third. Dialog was tough to understand at times.

Exactly. In that case, the director could have spiced it up a little. You know, so called "artist's license". smile.gif

I agree on "Seal Team Six" which is distributed by the Weinsteins.

That is correct.
It is the official history, as communicated by a number of witnesses.

The "takedown" of OBL wasn't particularly Hollywoodish.
The only real kink in the operation is one of the 2 copters crashed.

I watched this the other night and had a similar feeling. I found it slow and sorta boring, at one point I realized my mind was wandering and I had to rewind a few minutes and start paying attention again. I'm questioning myself, am I actually some sort of dullard because this movie didn't do anything for me? smile.gif Anyway glad to hear I'm not alone.

I will point out that the BD picture quality was awesome, I've got 5+ year old 50" Panasonic PX77U and it was stunning at times. That old TV can still get it done with the right source.

I watched the movie with my Samsung C430 plasma. Damn.. my plasma black level is terrible. It's grey. Need to re-watch the last 30 minutes on my OLED HMZ-T2.

The various accounts - love that part.

Paul Craig Roberts had an interesting comment on him the other day.

I fixed the last line in that article.

Anyone who believes anything the US government Paul Craig Roberts says is gullible beyond the meaning of the word.

Alex Jones. Oh, my. Sometimes a nut is just that. A nut.

I got to say, seeing the opening moments of this film in a packed theater was one of the most chilling movie experiences I've ever had.
