Anyone given the new Iron maiden 24-bit versions a spin?

https://www.onkyomusic.com/US/iron-m...-res-catalogue

Allegedly, Steve Harris approved these re-engineered albums, so I'm curious how they turned out, but since I've already bought most of them on vinyl and CD, I'm not sure if buying everything a 3rd time is worth it.

Available for purchase through the link I provided. On disc, no idea. What disc format do you expect to support 24-bit flac anyway?

Got my ...And Justice For Art book. While it was expensive it's worth it since the pages are thick and everyone of them is in full color. I can't wait to sink some time into this.

is David Vincent back with Morbid Angel? I remember he left like 15 years ago.

Any nightwish fans? My girlfriend is into them and ive never really listened to them. I wanna order one of their concet blurays for her, but no idea which one to get. I think there are 2, one is the last concert with the old singer and some other one from a few years ago. Or I can just order them both

I've only been scared by one movie in my life - The Exorcist. And I have only felt pure evil from one album cover - Mercyful Fates' Don't Break The Oath - the Exorcist of album covers. I'm not familiar with this book. Is this cover in there? It's a simple piece of art. Nothing outlandish or horror movie cartoon-ish, just simple piercing pure evil. I've always been curious about the background of that work.

I've always thought some of the most talented artwork I've ever seen was on metal album covers.

Yup it sure is. Since this book is very limited I took pics of those pages for you since I don't have a way to scan the pages easily without damaging the book. On the 2nd page I had to take a paragraph from another photo and use a graphics program to add it to that one since the flash messed up some of the text. You should be able to read the story behind that cover with these pics.

Emperor Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk. Probably the best album from Emperor period, good production for a blackmetal cd but still evil. Only other one I liked as much was the split they did in the beginning with Enslaved. You could feel the church burnings in that short album.

and OMG, I love Dissections - "Where Dead Angels Lie" song. Frak just love this song, I wish I had seen Dissection play live before Jon offed himself

this finally showed up after 2 weeks and a long journey from Argentina. The video quality is appaling for a dvd but the sound is okay. I swear it was recorded with old VHS camcorders then transferred over. By todays standards an Iphone would have been a huge improvement, infact ive seen youtube videos where someone has complied videos from other ppl into a larger movie with a good sound cut that was better than this. But I cant complain its still Arcuturs and one of my fav bands of all time. I think next on my list will be "At the Gates - The flames of the end" which has a few dvds and a cd in it. Followed up with "Emperor - Live Inferno" which is cds and a dvd.

I recently ordered some Nightwish blurays from Amazon for my girl since she likes. I can say ive become a fan. Really like their big sound. I ordered "End of an Era" and "Showtime, Storytime". I prefer "showtime, storytime". I wouldnt mind seeing them on a big stage since the show gets bigger.

A new Symphony X album is being released in July entitled Underworld, and here's a single they recently released called Nevermore. I love these guys!
