Lot of buzz about this title a few months ago. Did someone pick it up
for US distribution? It's a 2012 title so far.

I hope so, Wave Broadband has not yet added IFC Midnight to their OnDemand service and sometimes Vudu will not have some of the IFC Midnight titles. It's really a shame that IFC and IFC Midnight don't launch their own pay per rent app. I believe they are all under the AMC umbrella and it would even be able to encompass the awesome AMC original TV shows and even some free movies that AMC typically runs. I would gladly pay per rent or pay a monthly flat rate for that streaming service.

Really Enjoyed this. About as non-hollywood as it gets.
The trailer gives nothing away. Enjoy.

I don't have IFC Midnight OnDemand and it's nowhere to be found on Vudu so looks like I'll be waiting for a wider release mad.gif

Bluray.com shows this as 10/29 disc release, for any left that actually watch horror on disc. wink.gif

Seems like netflix delays most notable new releases, but am hoping this can slide under the radar and still get by the 30th...smile.gif

1080 or no, I think we'll agree on this one.

Watched this last night and really enjoyed it. Great subtle and creepy vibe that was maintained for the entire film. I did get a bit concerned that the ending could not match the intensity of the backstory reveal, but I was happy with it while I was watching. Think this has some good replay value – it will be fun going through the story again with the perspective of knowing the details.

Great story, great characters and a fairly unique and creative take on the turning process and the other related vampire enhancements. Great performances by the two gorgeous leading ladies.

Totally agree with the “About as non-Hollywood as it gets” – this is the kind of film that I want to watch. It transports you into this other world that is a little uncomfortable but so totally fascinating that you don’t want to leave. I sort of want to go watch it again now.

this was in my queue for long enough that I knew that I wanted to watch it, but could not really remember from the title what it was about. I dropped my disk in the mail this morning, so maybe you will get it soon smile.gif

would be interested to hear any feedback on Blu-Ray picture quality. I thought some of the day scenes were amazing in sharpness and overall clarity. Looks like a reviewer was picking on noise/compression in the night scenes, but I didn't notice anything that objectionable.
