Then when he's in his 40's & 50's they give him lifetime achievement awards and get his hands cement in Mann Chinese theater.

It's totally inevitable Channing will carry the torch after Cruise just like Kobe did after M Jordan. He's the one...can you name someone else taking the torch?

Not sure if Tom Cruise was at the same stage in his career when he did Top Gun, as Tatum is with WHD (I was but a wee bitty lad when Top Gun came out). But what I see Tom Cruise display in Top Gun is at a level of maturity that Tatum-tots has not yet approached. Tatum is one dimensional and cannot yet carry a non-chick-flick. His performance in the movies I've seen him in only reinforce this impression - like the Step Up movies, The Vow and Magic Mike. If he ever breaks out of his mumbling b-boy mold, I will change my mind. But, at this particular juncture in his career, Tatum-tots is nowhere near where Tom Cruise was, in terms of growth in the range of emotions he could deliver.

I will wait to rent WHD.

Just watched this and couldnt stomach it anymore. This has got to be the worse movie Ive seen in my life
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
I hate how this movie makes our men and women in the military look weak and inept. Why are guys even working on a theater in the white house without secret service supervision.

How do the bad guys suddenly kill each other because of some plan at the end

Foxx is terrible as a president. The little girl ruins the whole movie and Tatum cannot act. How does the guy in the room with the hostages even know that is tatums daughter when he takes her outside while they are driving the beast?

Olympus has fallen is miles better than this garbage

Watched this tonight, I preferred this over Olympus Has Fallen. Another successful blind buy for me.
