Completely different feeling from the first movie.

Yep, but I will still buy this. Live action, box office flops always show up in the $5.99 range at some point. smile.gif

Watched a NF BD copy tonite.
The AV is excellent BTW.

Kinda liked it a little better.
Still, it's not as good as the first film, definitely not as funny.
Maybe Mathew Vaughn shouldn't have relinquished the reins....

One thing that did jump out at me this time is how Chloë Grace Moretz phones it in.
I often caught her acting.rolleyes.gif

OTOH, Carrey, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Christopher Mintz-Plasse put in some stellar work here.

Will buy when it gets to the Bargain Bin....

Chloe said she would do a third one only if Matthew directs again.

A wise decision, as long as she brings her "A" game....

Agreed. I still liked her in this, but when I think of scenes I prefer from her, they are very intense and often combine some kind of physical nuance or edge.

Her acting seemed pretty similar in Carrie as well and perhaps she does not have the experience to do the calmer subtleties yet? Speaking of Carrie, when the crap hit the fan she puts her body in a really creepy stance and gives a non human look to her. She really has a knack for physical acting imo.

This is real, not a publicity stunt for K-A2:

I hope they do a third one because the latest Kick Ass 3 comic will have an actual ending. At least according to the writer.

http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=43638

Both the first and second film is very close to the comic book story combining the last three limited series they made. A third film shouldn't be out of the question to close it off.
I actually liked the 2nd film better because the first film sort of took away the reality aspect by adding a rocket pack. rolleyes.gif

Guys, I wouldn't count on a KA3.

According to IMDB, it only grossed its budget (which means it lost $$$).

Is that just box office results? Or does it include the home video market and cable TV deals?

He was in Blue Jasmine.

I believe he is back doing his standup routine. I saw him last year; I think it was an HBO special, where he did his shtick. Same Dice of old - funny.
