I think he just had a baby daughter recently. Condolences to the family. Tony Soprano will go down as one of the most memorable characters of our time.

I couldn't believe it when I saw the news. That's very sad. He was so young.

I was shocked, too, when I saw the news. Sad. I just finished watching all the Sopranos seasons a month or two ago (for about the 5th or 6th time). I guess I'll pop in True Romance this weekend...

I always wondered if he would check out early because of the weight. It helped make Tony Soprano larger than life, but all the heart palpitations and such that Tony endured on the show turned out to be a cruel foreshadowing. Because of his fame associated with that series, he was assured of a long and successful career. What a shame. frown.gif

I heard that in his honor, all lap dances at the Bada Bing are half-off tonight.

Look up Max Koch channels Tony Soprano on YouTube. He does a *perfect* Tony Soprano. He called into O&A this morning as Tony after he has died and was describing it. It was spooky...

James's role in Surviving Christmas with Catherine O'Hara is a favorite of mine.

In honor and in rememberance of James's characterization of Tony Soprano, I bought Journey's Greatest Hits today:

Tonite I watched JG's Swan Song: Enough Said.

A very good movie about middle age and relationships.
JG really made the film....his performance was pitch-perfect.

Although the movie has a Hollywood Ending, so much of what precedes it is so good, I have to give it a Thumbs Up.
BTW, an excellent choice as a "Date Night" film.

I didn't see a thread for the movie specifically so I'll just kick in here... I watched "Enough Said" tonight. It was a wonderful piece of work. Both he and Julia did amazing jobs, and the rest of the cast were great as well. It did have the obligatory (people can't handle being sad) Hollywood movie ending, but it had a lot of heart and is one of those that is very funny without ever trying to be funny.

Glad to hear it's good quality, I was surprised seeing this as a preview the other week - knew JG had been gone for a while now and didn't think he had finished more work - I look forward to watching it - still sad about his passing.
