-   -   SPOIL a classic film in 3 words or less (http://www.avsforum.com/forum/44-movies-concerts-music-discussion/1491408-spoil-classic-film-3-words-less.html)

Will2007 09-19-2013 04:12 PM

EDIT: Here are the rules as clarified and revised, with excellent suggestions provided by others. Thanks.

The rules:

Step 1: Pick a spoiler that hasn't already been answered and name the film it spoils.

Step 2: Spoil a different film using three or fewer words.

Your answer does not have to be right or confirmed to be right before you can proceed to Step 2. Please feel free to spoil another film after answering a previous spoiler.

(Preferably one that hasn't been used in this thread before and preferably a "classic" using whatever standard for "classic" you wish, but do it in good faith please).

I'll start. Name the film and then add your own three-word-or-less spoiler for another classic film for the next poster.

Chief speaks.

(Put the name of the film in spoiler tags)

Correct.

This is a two-part game. 1) Name the film spoiled above; then 2) Spoil another in 3 words or less.

Care to spoil one for the next person who cares to play?

Kilgore 09-19-2013 06:04 PM

This game would work just as well if there were no spoilers involved. Better, if you ask me.

For example, try this one.

Nuns in India.

simontan 09-19-2013 06:19 PM

Ok, since Tack didn't follow up with a film and I don't know the nuns in India spoiler, here goes:

1) One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
2) It's People!

JSUL 09-19-2013 06:25 PM

Soylent Green (2).

'To a new world of gods and monsters.'

This thread is getting confusing with too many people jumping in on top of one another. If this is going to be a quiz, I think it needs clearer rules.

I count 8 members who seem to understand the rules just fine so far in this thread. For your sake, I'll explain again. It's simple, and no, it's not a quiz. Each post stands on its own, without relation to others except for the post one is responding to.

The rules:

Step 1: Pick a spoiler that hasn't already been answered and name the film it spoils.

Step 2: Spoil a different film using three or fewer words.

(Preferably one that hasn't been used in this thread before and preferably a "classic" using whatever standard for "classic" you wish, but do it in good faith please).

If you still do not understand, please feel free to ask questions.
