My first guess is Julianne Moore, and the second is Michelle Dockery, who I thought was Winona Ryder in that trailer.

A squirrel has been eating my tomatoes, so I took my AK-47 and shot him with an armor-piercing bullet. Unfortunately, it also went through my neighbor's car and his neighbors SUV before being stopped by a propane truck filling a tank. Most of the neighborhood is now gone, but that squirrel will no longer be eating my tomatoes.

Like Liam as well. Passenger bad guy movie SSDD?
Reluctant Bad Ass Saves The Day Again?

The airliner enclosed plane set has always been a
device in films like, Passenger 57, Air Force One, Flight Plan,
Executive Decision, etc.

After being proven otherwise, turns out it was Liam. Probably one of those chicks was also his accomplice.

No kidding. He steps from one character to another and it's seamless. You could fall asleep watching one movie and wake up watching another and you wouldn't miss a beat. The titles are different but the formula is the same. But the pay is good and he is as busy as ever, so something must be working for him.

Exactly.

I noticed this pattern after the death of his wife.

I believe he may drowning himself in his work to cope with the loss, which, of course, is understandable.

Who really cares? Don't get your drift. The movie, itself, is forgettable and a waste of time and money to watch in a theater. Now if one hasn't seen The Grey, Taken, or Taken 2 then it might be worth watching. It is simply a rehash of the time old: locked room and who done it. Nothing wrong with that, but this could have been written a lot better than what one sees up on screen. Pretty lame and Liam Neeson needs some better screen writers to help him out. But no one can blame him for taking a paycheck that someone dangles in front of him, after all the rent has to be paid. Any more like this one and the Liam Neeson brand will no longer have any impact or meaning to the theater going public, regardless of the trailer.

I finally got around to seeing this and agree with the sentiment expressed in this thread about the sameness of Neeson's films. At least he got to call someone an a**hole again; that's always amusing.

This would have been a vastly more interesting film if Hollywood took a chance and Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
made Neeson's character turn out to be the actual bad guy in the end, with his despicable actions being convincingly pinned on others while everyone else thinks of him as a hero. That kind of shake-up to modern Hollywood filmmaking conventions would be nice. I'm sick of constant happy-go-lucky climaxes that attempt to exude warm feelings.

I dislike movies that ruin it in the last few minutes for no reason. Oh well

Haven't seen Non-Stop but the preposterousness that turned off some of you, as well as a number of the critics, bothers me not a whit. I have an almost infinite capacity to enjoy the excitement of a loud and dumb, but well acted thriller and to simultaneously ignore its silliness. Thus, I will watch Non-Stop one of these days, either as a Redbox rental or on TV when it shows up on one of the premium movie channels.

I completely agree with your earlier posts. A bad ending can ruin an otherwise good movie. And this is a perfect example of that.

I'm the king of enjoying preposterous movies. I even like Bay. Don't get me wrong, 3/4 of the movie is fun. It's that last 1/4 that leaves you saying wtf, I need to brush my teeth.

As I stated in the thread you linked to, I'll probably watch Europa Report too when it shows up on TV for the same reasons I will watch Non-Stop. What can I say? I have low standards. By the way, you have a really good memory for old posts in other AVS threads.

I agree. It seems if the last 15 minutes was stitched into the movie not to make liam the bad guy. It was awful.Typical hollywood messing up a good film

How many posts do you suppose have been posted to the threads to which you subscribe in the last 6 months? It has to have been thousands, if not tens of thousands. This being so, was there a reason you paid particular attention to my posts to the Europa thread?

May be. I remember what I remember. I never examined why. Anyway, I took Non-Stop off of my N-flix queue.

I hear you. I fear I may have inadvertently learned more than I wanted to know about the ending and didn't like it. I put a hold on the BD at my local public library but probably won't get a copy of it before fall. That's all right though. Maybe I will have forgotten what I recently read about the ending before then.
