No, I don't want to take the time to go look up the budgets for all of these.
However, I will say there are 2 kinds of "flops," which leads to my comment below...
Creativity counts for nothing in Hollywood if your movies aren't making any money.
OK, then someone at Warners should have put the stop to Kubrick from the get go.
I don't know if Warner is simply fulfilling a multi picture contract.
This could be....although IIRC, they have been called in from time to time to do some script doctoring
and might be "owed."
Oblivion was a minor success thanks in some part to Cruise but star power only goes so far.
He has another big sci-fi coming this summer BTW.
Most of the biggest movies of all time had nothing to do with the actors.
And I don't think Kunis and Tatum have enough draw to make a movie that successful.
