Not sure what the cause of death is. One thing is for sure, for an "unknown" actor, Rebhorn has certainly left some memorable roles behind.

EDIT: Apparently, he had melanoma.

I know "That Guy"! He has been in a lot of stuff, I specifically remember him as the villain John McFlemp from "The Adventures of Pete and Pete". Sad to hear of his passing, he did some good work and will be missed.

Damn. I love this guy. I find that all these supporting actors that I grew up with are my favorite group of actors.

Gonna boot up 'The International' in his honor but also cuz I like the movie.

I'm gonna miss, James. RIP

Most of the time supporting actors are much more than "supporting", they give soul to a movie. R.I.P James Rebhorn, I liked him.

Skin cancer, it sounds like he was working right until the end. Good on him for continuing to bring us all entertainment as long as he could. I always liked him, even as a serial killer on Law and Order.

That's disappointing. I have fond memories of many of his roles, but every time I see his face I think of two words: "Plausible deniability."
