A Walk Among The Tombstones (Liam Neeson)

Trailer starts off looking like another Taken type flick but seems like it may have a bit more depth, could be promising.

Definitely seems to have a darker tone. I hope he still have his special sets of skills.

Similar to Taken in certain elements, but with more dramatic undertones - looks to have potential!

Dreary and lethargically paced. If one likes atmosphere for atmosphere's sake, it might be passable. A distant second to Non-Stop which wasn't all that good.

Worse than Non-Stop? Ouch. I did not like that one. This one looked pretty good.

I think most people are expecting another Taken with lots of action but theres very little of it, just a few scenes. Its worth a watch.

Unfortunately, the actual movie didn't deliver what would have been hoped for via the trailer. This is one of many movies that not much would have been missed by seeing via a rental.

I didn't care for Non-Stop either. Looks like this will be a rental.

Damn, I had high hopes on this. I think the Taken as a concept has some legs to evolve into something more than just rescuing daughter and wife over and over.

Marco Robbi is THE most exquisite human creature on the face of the planet, in this moment in time.

I guess I will end up seeing it on blu-ray. Such a shame that this second attempt to adapt Scudder also looks like a one-and-done. That book series has such potential.

Lawrence Block's Kelp series would also provide great source material but I'm not confident they could pull that off either.

Took a walk among the tombstones with Liam tonite.

Some cliches, some eye-rolling, but better than most of the tripe he has been putting out since his wife died.
I dunno....I'm guessing the book was better than its movie adaptation.
Feeling generous, I would give it 5 out of 10 plastic bags.

LN really needs to stop with his Eastwood/Bronson shtick...he's just too old now.
There is a scene where he is attempting to chase a baddie down a street.
Instead of actually running (as the script no doubt indicates), he shuffles.
Ms. Oink thought this was very funny; I thought it was just sad.

Redboxed this a few weeks back. I think it's a solid pri-eye flick, but would only watch again if it came on TV. Good, but not special.
