Cool Snacks & super duper EZ pizza for your movie party

Mods I wasn't sure where exactly to put this so please FF if there is TY.

When the moon hits your pie it's amore.

I saw an episode of Best in Chow from the cooking channel and there was a pizza face off among 3 places in Regina Canada.

So one of them pizza up for consideration was a pizza with tortillas as the crust. He used 2, the 1st one spread only sauce & cheese very thin sparingly esp the cheese ok. The 2nd top one dress it up as you like amount of sauce n cheese with your toppings.

I tried it today & it came out incredible nobody could tell it was made from tortillas I swear to god. The 2 layers end up fusing into one as it bakes in my convection oven at 550 for only 7 min but if you don't have convection just add a few minutes. I placed it on hot oven safe pan but you can use a cookie sheet. The pre-heated pan made the crust extra nice n crispy if you like it like that.

Try it guys, anyone can do it with whatever you have in the fridge. I had a jar of Prego for the sauce & used just a few mushrooms + 1/4 of a bell pepper for a 8" tortilla & a slice of ham.

I couldn't believe it, wasn't better than round table but def much better than little Cesar's or papa johns tell you that much. So easy your kids can do it & save u mucho $ right at home. Plus that was my 1st time so it will get better as you do it more often.

So in 10 min you can have a hearty comforting pizza with ingredients made for less than a dang buck. A flour tortilla is just flour n water pretty much like a pizza dough right? Genius really if I may say so, Bon appetite!

Can't say enough how much you can pick up from watching the so called idiot box, this sort of stuff is priceless you know for those who are still resisting getting cable/directv you're missing out. It's nothing short of revolutionary for anyone who loves pizza.

That's my new pride n joy LG 4k 49" upscaling directv content. I'm still tickled pink every time I turn it on. These is the real deal legit upgrade not 3D or curved nonsense so if anyone out there still in 720p or tube TV now is that time to jump in the HD world.

Thumbs up

Not sure why the manage attachment will only upload 1 pic when they allow you to upload multiple ones. And I'm using my iPad 2 so there's no ctrl + c or v to copy the url with insert link method.

I know you can hold down the finger to select then copy paste in the iPad screen but there's no url in the photo storage

I make my own pizza dough for both Sicilian style and Chicago deep dish, but I've got to try this for crispy bar-style.

For sicilian or pan pizza you prob need to stack more tortillas but you know it's dirt cheap as some local Mexican markets have big bags of tortillas all types n sizes for pennies.

Seriously for convenience using what anyone already have in the fridge or pantry this could beat out package ramen for budget with college kids alike.

I tend to use Nan bread for homemade pizza's. It's the perfect thickness and taste's amazing. May even try out the tortilla stacking thing to see how that turns out.

Make something idiot-proof, and they will build a better idiot
