Last movie watched at home. "Dangerous Liaisons". Got to love the ending when the Marquise de Merteuil gets booed. Uh I sort of think you deserved that. As she said " And in the end, I distilled everything to one wonderfully simple principle: win or die. "

The last movie watched at a theater, "Carol". A bit disappointed that this one wasn't nominated for best picture.

Of the latter, I liked these movies:
Lazy Hazy Crazy
The Big Short

Especially liked Kill Kane, it's the new movie of the year.
I particularly like the genres: drama, thriller.

Dude111,
I wonder if you have viewed any movie on SD dvd or 1080pm Blue Ray disc at home. All your posting are on VHS (video tape)! What is the incentive driving you to stick with VHS? How MADE you satisfied with the extreme low resolution of VHS?

I love VHS buddy...... Its exactly like how I have watched TV all my life and I love it.... Excellent picture,analogue,etc........... (Natural, etc) Even nicer analogue sound though on most stuff...... (Even warmer than watching it over analog cable (No surprise I guess seeing its not going over a network and being degraded that way a little))

I love analog like crazy!!!!!!

Thanx for the kind words

Lawrence of Arabia in BluRay. Just returned from visiting Jordan and driving around Wadi Rum where some of the desert scenes were filmed. Looked very familiar, both in this film and The Martian.

Antman. Very cool, even for me who is 69 years old.

Made the mistake of toggling the so-called descriptive English service button in 'setup' and we heard the continuous commentary on every movement of the characters, doors opening & closing, description of smiles and such. At first, we thought that the English-accented female voice was part of the movie and wondered why this voice was not being picked up on the subtitles.

Oops, we won't do that again. ;-)
