In a HT setting TheaterTek blows them both out of the water...

Between the two my money is on WinDVD for superior image but NVDVD is also very interesting and worth a look..

If I was using anything other than TT I would use the filters with Zoom Player as ity has most of TT features at a better price and allows for a LOT of customization.

Yeah, I really wish TT had as nice of a user interface as PowerDVD though.

Well its personal preference... I would HATE to have some hokey emulated DVD player pop up or controller like that in my HT setup...

Pronto controls the whole thing with elegant OSD's and no pretend player...

Of course if you interact with a mouse then Rt click is pretty ugly but its designed to be used with Girder and a remote...

If you like the mouse control look at ZP.. .Can be configured to have a control bar pop up on mouse movement and you can add buttons to the control bar so its pretty elegant alternative....

True... I do use a mouse, and ought to look at a Girder setup. It would be the classier way to go, for sure. No doubt that TT is a better looking player, both performance-wise and general appearance. (Man, is that PowerDVD splash screen ever an eyesore!) I've never been able to get into ZP for some reason. It has beaucoup features but it just looks clunky to me.
