I have had a 721BK for about 4 weeks now, and earlier last week finally got some DVD-Audio disks. I was able to get 6 of them, and quickly sampled each of them. They sure sound nice. The 721BK is supposed to be identical to the 723GD available in the USA.
However, in sitting down to listen critically to whole disks, I have had problems with 2 of the 3 I have listened to completely. The problem is the same in both cases, the music suddenly stops in the middle of a track. Moving forward or backward with the jog shuttle will bring the sound back, but if you go back before the sound stopped and play forward, it will stop every time.

Here are details on the disks, track number, and time into the track:

Jazz at the Movies Band; The Bedroom Mixes
Track 5 (Farewell, My Lovely), Time 1:17

Nicholaus Harnoncourt, Berliner Philharmoniker; Johann Strauss in Berlin
Track 2 (Ouverture >>Eine Nacht in Venedig<< (Berliner Urfassung), Time 5:40

I would be very interested in hearing if:

1) Anyone else with a 721 or 723 can repeat these problems.

2) Anyone with any other DVD-Audio player has these problems or can confirm that it does not happen with another model.

Thanks,
Mike

P.S. I posted this a week ago and got no response, so I reposted it with a title which may make other DVD-Audio owners look at it rather than just other JVC owners.
