Wathced this last night the disc read 16x9 fullscreen and sure enough I was not able to use the anamorphic mode on my CI when I switched to standard mode the full image was displayed in all its glory. I have never seen a disc like this before. Does anyone else find it strange?

I was lucky in the order, but I've always been lucky when it comes to killin' folk - Unforgiven cannot wait for the hd-dvd of this gem

Stir of Echoes DVD jacket states “16:9 fullscreen edition†and “modified to fit your TV screen.†The disc is actually an anamorphic widescreen edition with a measured aspect ratio of 1.78:1 (16:9).

Double check that your DVD player is set to output at 16:9, then make sure the Crystal Image display output is set to 16:9 as well. This is definitely a 1.78:1 Anamorphic DVD, so if you had to set the CI to Standard and not Anamorphic to display it properly then something is not setup properly.
