This is one of my favorite movies i have seen in a long time and i really cant wait to see it in my home theatre. The music and visuals are incredible and really want to hear it at home on my setup in dd5.1 it will probably sound better then the theatre.. anyway does anyone know of a release date of have any info on this disc?

Thanks!

No idea on release date but I agee that this was an eye popping spectacular spectacular!! My wife took me without telling me it was a musical (which I ordinarily do not enjoy) and was I glad she did. Come to think of it, this was the second musical this year that I thought was very well done (Dancer in the Dark being the other). Perhaps I need to reconsider my anti-musical stance.

I read it somewhere about Moulin Rouge's DVD release. Fox is going to make this release a special one. Just like what Dreamworks going to do with Shrek. I hope the DVD release will be as good as the movie http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif

And I thought that was what older ladies put on their white cheeks to add some color, live and learn.

I, too enjoyed this movie. It was made exactly the way one would bring a broadway musical to the big screen.

VideoETA.COM has it listed as a possible October release. I don't think it's going to happen, so here's hoping for early November

Keep you eye on www.thedigitalbits.com. That site suggests it may not be out til year-end

Rough business this movie business. I may have to go back to loan sharking for a rest.
