I just got The Mummy Returns in the mail today. Played it in my computer to check out DVD-ROM features. but it acts like it is in a regular DVD player and returns me to the menu. I am using ASUS DVD which I assume is Power DVD. I did not want to install the player that came with the disc because I have heard of problems with that. What can I do?

Are you capable of independent thought, or do you need the government and mass media to do that for you?

I don't have a DVD-ROM in my PC, nor do I have the Mummy Returns DVD. But here's a wild guess nonetheless...

Is the disc starting up as soon as you put it in the DVD-ROM player? If so, you have autoplay set up on your PC. You might try left clicking on the My Computer icon on your desktop.

Find the icon that represents your DVD-ROM drive and right click on it. Then, choose Open from that menu. That should open a window showing the DVD's contents and you can probably hunt down the DVD-ROM content there.

Just a shot in the dark...

Yeah, I know that. Thanks anyway. I think it needs a player program compatible with those features, like the one included on the DVD, but I did not install it because I heard that it is no good.
