I just happened to notice that the listing for The Mummy Returns in the DVD Profiler software shows a DTS version. On closer examination the cover art is actually the art from the original The Mummy (Ultimate Edition) leading me to believe that someone just goofed. But on the other hand, they could have just mistakenly posted the wrong cover art. So my question would be - is there, or will there be, a version of The Mummy Returns with a DTS soundtrack or not?

Ken

Hi
For the first time in history we in Region 4 get a DTS sound track when region 1 didn't.
Thanks

terrymccracken-

Does your R4 version of the mummy contain similar special features as our R1 disc? Does it also contain a dolby 5.1 soundtrack?

Thanks alot.

I haven't heard of a dts release yet. But, it seems very reasonable to assume that Universal will rerelease the film next year as an Ultimate 2 disc set with dts and DD.

Hi
It does have the DD track as well, a full review is available at http://www.michaeldvd.com.au/Reviews...p?ReviewID=551
And you get 16% extra resolution as well !!!(NTSC -> PAL difference)
